Getting Started

Pie Clicker is a Hytale idle/clicker game where you click a big pie to bake pies, buy buildings to produce pies automatically, and purchase upgrades to multiply your production.

How to Play

Type /pie in chat to open the game UI.
Click the pie button to bake pies manually.
Use your pies to buy Buildings that produce pies per second (PpS).
Buy Upgrades to double the production of each building type.
Click Golden Pies when they appear for temporary boosts.
Climb the Leaderboards to become the top baker!

Your progress auto-saves every 60 seconds and whenever you close the UI.

Buildings

There are 20 buildings that produce pies automatically. Each building costs 15% more than the last one you bought of the same type (formula: Base Cost × 1.15^owned).

Upgrades

Each building has 15 tiered upgrades. Each upgrade doubles that building's production (×2 per tier, up to ×32,768 at tier 15). Upgrades unlock based on the number of that building you own. There are 300 total building upgrades.

Unlock Requirements

Auto Clickers unlock at: 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550 owned.
All other buildings unlock at: 1, 5, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600 owned.

Pie Tap Upgrades

Pie Tap upgrades boost your manual clicking power. Each adds +1% of your total PpS to every click. There are 15 tiers. They unlock based on your total hand-made pies (pies baked from manual clicking only).

Manual Clicking System

Clicking the pie isn't just for early game! With the right upgrades, manual clicks can yield massive amounts of pies.

Click Power Formula

Base: 1 pie per click
Auto Clicker Upgrades (Tier 1-3): Each doubles click power → up to ×8
Thousand Taps Chain (Tier 4+): Adds +0.1 per non-Auto Clicker building owned, scaled by: Million Taps (×5), Billion Taps (×10), later tiers (×20 each)
Pie Tap Upgrades: Each adds +1% of your total PpS per click (up to +15%)
Golden Pie Buffs: Frenzy (×7) and Click Frenzy (×777) multiply clicks

Click numbers appear above the pie when you click, shown in grey normally and gold during Frenzy.

Golden Pies

Golden Pies appear randomly on screen. Click them for powerful rewards!

Spawn Timing

Minimum cooldown: 5 minutes must pass between golden pie appearances (even across UI sessions)
First spawn: 20-60 seconds after opening the UI (if cooldown has passed)
Between spawns: 5-8 minutes
On screen for: ~15.6 seconds (fades in over 1 second)
Requirement: You must have baked at least 100 lifetime pies before golden pies begin appearing

Effects

When you click a Golden Pie, one of four effects is chosen:

Lucky	40%	Grants flat pies: `min(PpS × 900, Pies × 0.15) + 13`
Frenzy	30%	Production ×7 for 77 seconds
Click Frenzy	20%	Click power ×777 for 13 seconds
Pie Shower	10%	Spawns 5 more Golden Pies over 55 seconds (min 5s gap)

Important: Only one production boost (Frenzy or Click Frenzy) can be active at a time. If a boost is already active, any new Golden Pie clicked will grant Lucky (flat pies) instead.

Compete with other players! The leaderboard shows the top 99 players.

The top 3 players get trophy icons. You can click any player to view their full stats.

The stats panel also shows a per-building breakdown of how many of each building you own and their CPS, plus your upgrade progress (X/15 per building).

Pie Tracker HUD

Toggle an always-visible on-screen counter showing your current pie total! Access it from the bakery panel.

How to Use

Open the Pie Clicker UI with /pie
Click the "PIE TRACKER: OFF" button at the bottom of the bakery panel
The button toggles to "PIE TRACKER: ON" and the HUD appears
A second button appears to cycle through 5 positions

Position Options

Your HUD preference is saved between sessions. The HUD is off by default.

Tips & Strategies

Early Game

Click the pie actively to build up your first pies.
Buy Auto Clickers first - they're cheap and their first 3 upgrades double your click power.
Move to Kweebec Bakers and Pie Orchards as soon as you can afford them.

Mid Game

Focus on buying upgrades - each one doubles a building's output for a relatively low cost.
Keep an eye out for Golden Pies! A well-timed Frenzy can dramatically accelerate your progress.
Start investing in Pie Tap upgrades once they unlock to keep clicking relevant.

Late Game

The Thousand Taps upgrade chain scales with how many non-Auto Clicker buildings you own, making clicks extremely powerful.
Pie Showers spawn multiple Golden Pies in quick succession - great for racking up Lucky payouts during an active Frenzy.
Higher-tier buildings have exponentially higher PpS - always push for the next building unlock.
Use the Pie Tracker HUD to monitor your pies while doing other things in Hytale.
